About NFT Community Hub
Why We Created This Platform
The NFT Community Hub was built to extend the energy of our Facebook group with richer discovery, safer collaboration, and structured education. We saw that collectors, artists, and buyers needed a dedicated space to:
• Discover verified NFTs with curated showcases and community submissions
• Stay informed about drops, floor movements, and market insights without missing opportunities
• Learn safely with wallet hygiene guides, security alerts, and educational resources
• Collaborate through proposals, events, and community-driven curation
• Build trust with wallet-verified profiles and transparent community governance
Most importantly, we built this platform to be 100% read-only. We never request transaction approvals or access to your funds. All wallet interactions are signature-based for authentication only, so you can explore, learn, and showcase without any risk to your assets.
What Information We Collect
When you connect your wallet, we collect minimal information to provide you with a personalized experience:
• Wallet Address
Your Ethereum wallet address (e.g., 0x1234...). This is public information on the blockchain and is used to identify your account.
• Signature (for verification only)
You sign a message to prove wallet ownership. This signature is used only for authentication and cannot be used to send transactions or access your funds.
• Optional Profile Information
Username, display name, bio, and avatar (all optional). You control what you share.
• Your Preferences
Favorite NFTs, saved collections, and watchlist preferences you choose to save.
How the Platform Works
1. Wallet Connection
Connect your wallet using MetaMask, WalletConnect, or other supported wallets. This is read-only—we never request transaction permissions.
2. Signature Verification
You sign a unique message (nonce) to prove wallet ownership. This signature is cryptographically verified but cannot be used for anything other than authentication. Each signature is single-use and expires.
3. Profile Creation
A profile is automatically created with your wallet address. You can optionally add a username, display name, and bio. Your profile stores your favorites, saved collections, and preferences.
4. NFT Discovery & Submission
Browse curated collections, view wallet NFTs (via Reservoir API), and submit your own NFTs for community showcase. Submissions require admin approval before appearing publicly.
5. Community Features
Participate in proposals, save favorite NFTs, create watchlists, and engage with the community—all while keeping your wallet interactions read-only.
Privacy & Data Security
• No Private Keys: We never ask for or store your private keys or seed phrases.
• No Transactions: We cannot and will not send any transactions from your wallet.
• Read-Only Access: Wallet connection is read-only. We can view your NFTs but cannot move them.
• Signature Expiration: Authentication signatures are single-use and expire. Nonces rotate after each verification.
• Admin Access: Admin features require signature verification and an "Admin" badge on your profile.
